Sitter Network Membership Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Sitter Network! These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern your use of the Sitter Network website, mobile application, and services. By creating an account, accessing the platform, or using our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions.
For purposes of this Agreement, all users of the platform are referred to as Members, including both Parent Membersand Babysitter Members.

1. Membership
Sitter Network is a membership-based childcare platform that connects Parent Members with Babysitter Members.
Members agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when creating and maintaining an account. Members are responsible for keeping their account information up to date.
Members must be at least 18 years old to create an account.
Sitter Network reserves the right to suspend or terminate any membership at its sole discretion for violations of these Terms, unsafe behavior, fraud, misuse of the platform, or any conduct that may negatively affect other Members or Sitter Network.

2. Reservations
Reservations are requested and managed through the Sitter Network platform.
Submitting a reservation request does not guarantee babysitter availability.
Sitter Network will make reasonable efforts to match Parent Members with qualified Babysitter Members based on availability and other relevant factors.
Members are expected to communicate promptly regarding reservations, schedule changes, and cancellations.

3. Payments
Payments for services may be processed securely through Stripe or another authorized payment processor.
Members authorize Sitter Network to process applicable charges associated with their use of the platform.
Any applicable membership fees, reservation fees, cancellation fees, or other charges will be disclosed before payment is processed.

4. Cancellations
Parent Members should cancel reservations as soon as possible if childcare is no longer needed.
Repeated late cancellations or no-shows may result in additional fees or suspension of membership.
Babysitter Members are expected to honor accepted reservations. Frequent cancellations or missed reservations may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or termination of membership.

5. Member Responsibilities
All Members agree to:
Treat one another with professionalism and respect.
Maintain honest and accurate account information.
Follow all applicable laws.
Use the platform only for lawful childcare-related purposes.
Report safety concerns or inappropriate behavior promptly.
Members may not:
Harass, threaten, discriminate against, or intimidate other Members.

6. Parent Member Responsibilities
Parent Members agree to:

Arrive on time for accepted reservations.

Notify Sitter Network immediately of scheduling conflicts or emergencies.
Maintain any required certifications or qualifications represented in their profile.
Babysitter Members may be required to complete background screenings before accepting reservations.

8. Background Screening
Sitter Network may require certain Members to complete identity verification and background screenings.
Completion of a background screening does not guarantee future conduct and should not be interpreted as a guarantee of safety.

9. Communications
By creating an account, Members consent to receive communications from Sitter Network relating to their membership and use of the platform.
These communications may include:

Reservation reminders
Schedule updates
Account notifications
Security alerts
Customer support communications
Service announcements

10. SMS Messaging Consent
By providing your mobile phone number and creating an account, you expressly consent to receive text messages from Sitter Network regarding your membership and services.
