Weather Emergencies and Holidays
For holidays or opportunities that L&A cannot provide, the parent can schedule a call using OnceHub to speak with an administrator. If the administrator approves, we will forward the opportunity to the babysitters and if someone responds we will refer the interested people to the parent.
In the terms and conditions, parents will “accept” that babysitting reservations may be canceled by L&A if the weather conditions or environment (such as a state emergency) is too dangerous for a babysitter to travel.
Also in the terms and conditions, parents will “accept” that they can reserve babysitters for actual babysitting reservations. Not for lifeguarding, cleaning, tutoring, or party help. If a babysitter arrives at a reservation and this comes to light, they will be instructed to leave the reservation and the parent will be charged a cancellation fee.
